Renovated Ranch
For her own house in Fairfield County, Connecticut, Shelley Morris transformed a dowdy '50s ranch house into a restful retreat. Gutting all the interiors, se layered each room with furniture and art from a variety of periods, tied together with neutral palettes and tactile finishes such as Venetian plaster and linen upholstery. A newly enclosed courtyard entry garden elevates the architectural pedigree of the once forlorn house.
